HOW TO MAKE APPLE BUTTER
Peel and core apples, then chop into small pieces.
Place apples in a large pot with sugar, cinnamon, and water.
Cook over medium heat until apples are soft and tender.
Use an immersion blender to puree the mixture until smooth.
Add lemon juice and continue cooking until mixture thickens.
Pour apple butter into sterilized jars and seal tightly.
Store in a cool, dark place for up to 6 months.
